Region Leadership Conference recap!

Yesterday was our Region 11 Leadership Conference at Collins Hill High School, and I'm happy to say that we definitely grasped our TIME TO SHINE! We competed in various performance events, developed new business skills, made new connections, and celebrated our successes all in the span of 5 hours!

We also received many awards and recognitions yesterday, and had 9 people qualify for the State Leadership Conference in Athens from March 12-14, with 2 members even qualifying in multiple competitive events! Here's a list of all competitive event winners and recognitions Peachtree Ridge FBLA received at RLC (members in bold qualified for SLC):

- James Lee, 2nd in Impromptu Speaking A

- Chintan Sheth, 4th in Public Speaking II

Some other updates from your Peachtree Ridge FBLA chapter:

- FBLA Week is FEBRUARY 6-10! Additional information will be announced soon, but we will be holding meetings on February 7th and 9th, as well as potential Project Anaheim meetings for SLC participants to practice for tests and performance events!

- Registration for SLC will open later this weekend, so stay tuned, even if you didn't qualify from RLC (there are events that start at SLC!)
